Web Buster FAQ's and Info

Frequently Asked Questions
  • QHow much vacuum power does the Web Buster deliver?
    A.  Because the Web Buster attaches to your vacuum hose with a rubber seal (a very easy task), there is no vacuum lost by leaks, unlike wands that push onto your vacuum hose.

  • QWhy can't I just use the tubes that come with my vacuum?
    A.  Most tube extensions that come with your vacuum are short extensions that press together to reach a length of about 4 feet.  Usually, that amount of extension is too little to reach vaulted ceilings and gable eves.  Plus, since those extensions push together (instead of sealing) vacuum is allowed to leak at each joint.  The more of those extensions you use, the less vacuum that reaches the business end of the wand.  The Web Buster makes an air tight seal on the hose and has no points of leakage so all the vacuum power is delivered to the end of the wand.

  • QWhy use one long wand instead of one that is assembled in sections?
    A.  Extensions that come with the vacuum are usually too short to reach high places and must be assembled in sections. The sections tend to leak vacuum because they are not an air tight seal. Vacuum is more likely to be lost along the way in a long extension. Because of this, Web Buster has taken great steps to ensure no loss of vacuum.

  • Q.  Will it fit my vacuum?
    A.  Yes, or your money back. A vast majority of vacuums use the same size hose ends. Plus, the unique seal in the tightening ring adjusts as the ring is tightened, sealing around all manufacturer's hoses tested.  The maximum outside diameter that will fit is 1 5/16 inches.

  • QHow do I attach the Web Buster to my vacuum?
    A.  The Web Buster attaches to your vacuum hose by inserting your manufacturer's  hose into the Web Buster. To make sure the fit is air tight, you simply tighten the ring clockwise after inserting the hose end. You know it is tight enough when you cannot easily pull the vacuum hose out of the Web Buster. To remove, simply loosen the ring and remove the hose. Click here to see a picture of how the tool is attached.

  • QIsn't it Heavy? Won't I have trouble lifting it?
    A.  No. The Web Buster is made from strong but light PVC plastic. It is surprisingly light and easy to handle with one hand.

  • QWhat if I知 not completely satisfied with my Web Buster?
    A.  If you aren稚 completely satisfied with the Web Buster you may return it within 30 days of purchase for a complete refund of the purchase price. Go to the Contact page and make arrangements with the sales department to return it.

  • QIf a Web Buster falls down in the closet and nobody hears it, does it make a sound?
    A.  Philosophically, the Web Buster will not make a sound by itself. It must be attached to your vacuum.
